The Alexandra/Clyde Fashion Show was a huge success thanks to everyone involved! Whether is was backstage dressing models or making supper, spending hours making the catwalk, being a model or simply buying a tickets and enjoying a night out ... thank you! We fundraised close to $8000 for the Elim building project and Dunstan Rowing Club thanks to ticket sales and the generosity of people at our auction.
The event was a huge success with many people commenting on the level of professionalism and fun. It was a pleasure to bring such a great event to our town and showcase the fashion of local clothing stores.
The models were amazing, only one of the 22 models had professionally modelled before, but all did such an amazing job that you would think they were all experienced! In fact, one designer commented that the models showcased her clothing better than anywhere else they had been modelled!
